Making hybrid work…work

The long-awaited inflection point of hybrid work and a return to the office is well underway in many organisations.

This research from Microsoft (based on a survey of over 31,000 full-time employees, across 30 countries) is very telling.

It clearly shows that as more people experience the upsides of flexible work, it is changing how many define the role of work in their lives.

For instance, for Gen Z and Millennials, there’s no going back to full time office based work. And other generations are not far behind.

Which leaves a big challenge ahead for every organization.

❓How to meet employees’ new expectations head-on while balancing business outcomes in an unpredictable economy!

Five key trends the research shows are:

✅Employees have a new “worth it” equation.

✅Managers feel wedged between leadership and employee expectations.

✅Leaders need to make the office worth the commute.

✅Flexible work doesn’t have to mean “always on.”

✅Rebuilding social capital looks different in a hybrid world.
